Schools out! Til Jan 4th anyway. . .

One of the things I treasure most about Christmas break is the ability to slow down, take a day or two with my family and enjoy all the ridiculous antics we get up to. Usually this ends in Nerf gun fights throughout the house and giggles, while dinner is cooking. At the end of the day, for us anyway, we pull out a board game, and eat before settling down to a movie we can watch together.

So much of the time during the year, we spend running to lessons, running to complete stories, and just plain running.  From Thanksgiving to the end of the year, my family and I try to pull a few days, just a few (we run a business so we rarely even have weekends!), to spend together, wholesome, unattached to phones, computers and tablets and reconnect on a person to person level.

We wish you a Merry Christmas, and a fabulous holiday season, from those of us here at Home on the Rangely.
