Rangely Outdoor Museum's Fireside
The Rangely Outdoor museum looks to show individuals a look into the past, Curtis Martin has been researching the with the Colorado Wickiup Project which is a group of researchers that have spent the past decade examining structures throughout north-central Colorado.
What is a Wikiup you ask? It is a small wooden shelter made by standing tree limbs together in a conical pattern, covered in brush. This is important because it may indicate that some of the Ute's did not leave the "Shining Mountains." You can also attend the amazing Fireside get together that the Museum is hosting. You don't want to miss it. Read more about it here!
