4 Things to do for Mother's Day 2018

Out here in the wild and remote west, we have every type of mother. Homeschooling mothers, working mothers, ranching mothers, stay at home mothers, going-back-to-school mothers, you imagine a category and I can tell you we've probably got at least one. Without mothers we wouldn't be here so while you're planning what to do for the special ladies of your life, we've gathered some events you might want to check out to make Mother's Day 2018 one of the best ones yet!

Mother's and Father's Day Card Making

The May Maker Space at Cedaredge Library in Cedaredge will be a card making station with all supplies provided. Makers will have the chance to create a card for their mom and dad to help celebrate the respective days on which we honor them! All month long during library hours. There are dates from the 9th through the 12th, so gather up the kids and make a custom card for Mom this Mother's Day. Additional dates are available afterward to make Father's Day cards, so this is a great spot for both events!

Mother's Day Craft

Rangely's Recreation Parks and District offers a Mother's Day Craft for kids to make something special just for mom. From 4-5 p.m. May 10th kids can come in and create with Mom in mind for their Mothers Day 2018 gift. The cost is only $10 so this is an affordable way to give mom a handmade gift she will treasure for years.

Mother's Day Weekend Brunch

This event keeps on giving, so for Mother's Day 2018, this might just be one you don't want to miss!
